Update 062212

I am now able to add a little more information about this Futuro along with some new photos courtesy of Achim Breiling who recently passed by the site, was able to grab some photos and kindly emailed me the information and allowed me to display his photos here.

The Futuro is on the property of P&M Präsentation und Medientechnik GmbH. The company is in the business of Industrial Exhibitions, Exhibition Stands and the like and so the initial thought was that like Expotechnik Holding GmbH & Co. KG who own the Taunusstein Futuro the company may have been involved in early exhibitions or other activity related to or making use of the Futuro. However historical satellite imagery available in Google Earth shows that the Futuro was not in this location in 2000. Of course it could have been owned by the same company and located elsewhere but equally it could have been elsewhere with a different owner; at this time I have no way of knowing but I will endeavor to find out.

Though the windows were extremely difficult to see through Achim indicated to me that while the Futuro was clearly fully intact externally from what little he could see the interior was empty.

Original Information 101511

I came across this Futuro when searching Panoramio and other than the two Panoramio images by Ivo Kompletti I have not been able to find any additional information about it anywhere. It does not appear to be referenced on any of the usual websites that have lists of Futuro Houses and I came upon it purely by chance looking for photographs of another location.

I initially figured it was probably one that had been moved and was already recorded at another location but when I looked at dates that proved not to be the case. Ivo Kompletti's photos were taken January 2011 [012211] and the satellite imagery in Google that clearly shows the Futuro is only from 2010 so I have to assume the Futuro is still at the location and had simply not previously come to the attention of anyone with an interest in Futuros.

Given the almost complete lack of information on this unit if you happen to know anything about it I would love to hear from you.

Got new, updated or corrected information or an image I could use?

I am always looking for additional information, history, details, images, videos; just about anything Futuro I guess - if you would like to contribute please use the Futuro Contact Form at the bottom of the main article or email me.

As far as images go I am particularly interested in those that are either significantly better than the ones already on this page or show a different aspect or detail. If you own an image meeting one or both of those criteria I would love to be able to use it on this page but I will simply provide a link if that is your preference. Where permission is granted to use an image on the page appropriate attribution will be provided by means of a link to the original image, a link to a website of your choosing or both.
